The Team Sky & Jaguar partnership programme approached The Seen to produce a set of branded display banners. The display banners are to go on show at the British Ambassadors residence in Paris for an Innovation and Technology promotion event, supporting a speech that Sir Dave Brailsford will be giving.
Ok, so size up images in photoshop to 2m, crop, enhance and retouch where necessary and drop a logo in place — simple.
However ... some more thought and attention to details regarding the artwork process were suggested to maximise the quality and consistency of the final products.
As the original images were being scaled up in some cases by a massive 400%, incremental scaling steps were adopted using a specialist bicubic resizing setting best suited for enlargements, this helped to retain as much original image and pixel detail as possible.
Due to the large scaling some noise and pixelation was still naturally expected on the images so a fine photographic film grain effect was added to the final sized and cropped images. This helps to provide a little cover and camouflage to any noise/pixelation and also gives the set of display boards a unifying feel.
In addition to the display boards we have also produced a 108 page Marketing Activation Toolkit, more details coming soon.
